Planning Permission for tennis court floodlighting in London

Location: London

Category: Floodlighting

CT Planning have secured planning permission for the erection of 8 floodlights at Globe Lawn Tennis Club in Haverstock Hill, London.

Andrew Brough MRTPI successfully demonstrated, using lightspill analysis produced by Luminance Pro, that the impact of the lights on the neighbouring properties will not be excessive and any impact will be outweighed by the public benefit of the improved recreational sporting facilities.

This has meant that Globe Tennis Club can continue to operate as a club even in the darker months strengthening their position as a key community asset and providing a valuable place for a wide range of people to enjoy the sport.
