A large part of our work is land promotion through the Development Plan process. Land currently being promoted by the practice includes smaller parcels of land on the edge of villages and towns to large strategic sized sites that require lengthy discussion with the local authority and other stakeholders.
We provide advice on how best promote sites and make formal submissions during the plan-making process. Our involvement continues throughout the promotion process and can include making representations at Local Plan and Neighbourhood Plan Examinations.
Planning Authorities commence a review of its Local Plan with a Call for Sites. This where they invite landowners to submit land for consideration to be allocated for development as part of the emerging Development Plan.
