The Assignment
CT Planning successfully applied for a change of use from a dwellinghouse (Class C3) to a Children’s Home (Class C2)
It was demonstrated that the number of occupants (four young persons), including on-duty staff that are proposed to live at the application site, is no more vehicular than might be generated by any large family or group of people that might live together lawfully as a single household in a large dwellinghouse.
It was also shown that the character and nature of the proposed use would not differ materially from that of the existing use of the property as a single family dwellinghouse and therefore there will not be any adverse impact upon the living conditions of surrounding residential properties.
