Planning for water treatment works buildings

CT Planning successfully applied for planning permission for two buildings at a water treatment works located in Green Belt. The buildings would provide additional filtration.

The proposed development was sited within the existing operational land at the water treatment works and was the minimum size necessary to accommodate the required infrastructure.

The very special circumstances for green belt permission were that the buildings would support the operational need to ensure water supply and quality at the water treatment works is maintained at all times.
